As one who sought God many places before developing a relationship with God through Jesus Christ I understand Oprah’s desire to craft a personal God. She is searching for the same truth we all seek. There is an emptiness within all of us and Oprah is simply looking for answers. She has a good heart and many gifts. I pray Oprah and the all those God seeks find there way home soon.
That said, God’s judgement is not to be treated lightly. When Oprah’s personal search becomes a public movement there is a cost. False prophets are mentioned throughout the Bible and never in a good way. I urge all Christians interceed on behalf of Oprah and those who follow her. May God transform her life and use her to lead those who follow to the one True God.
